Mounting MPPT 100/30 in engine room

can the SmartSolar 100 | 30 Charger be safely mounted in the engine room of a gas powered cruiser? It would be mounted next to the current AC to DC charger.

I found out through a dealer that the unit is in fact ok to mount in the engine compartment. The unit is fully potted.

I kept mine out of the engine room as they're not explicitly listed as ignition protected.
