Venus Packages on Raspberry and vebus-interface_2.30-r1.0_armhf.deb

Hi,

I've tried to install the packages as mentioned in https://github.com/victronenergy/venus/wiki/raspberrypi-install-venus-packages - but this package is still missing: vebus-interface_2.30-r1.0_armhf.deb

Where can I find this packages?

Thanks

raimund

Hi; yes its indeed still missing; thank you for highlighting this. We fixed it just now; or at least made a change that will probably fix it:

https://github.com/victronenergy/meta-victronenergy/commit/bb95424bbe8242167f8b85ff25ef529bc13c8ca3

You'll need to wait for our next version to be available as a release-candidate. Currently its v2.30~35, see here:

Thanks for the quick answer!

But do you also have the deb-file so I can download it?

Hi @rai, sorry I don't have them. A colleague made the commit & build. Good news however is that you'll be able to find them in the testing feed tomorrow. I expect it to show up here, most likely as mk2-dbus.

And; for any co-readers of this: do *not* make a habit out of using the testing feed. Better use the candidate feed if you want to be on the bleeding edge; or just official releases for normal things that need to just work.

More information about those feeds is in our release-cycle document.
