MPPT 75/15 Charging Issue.

Hi, I have an issue with my MPPT 75/15 controller charging a 12V lithium ion battery. When i disconnect the solar panel, the battery voltage is 12.5 as verified by a meter. When the panels are connected, the battery voltage jumps up to 14.2, thus not charging the battery. Any ideas?

First check the fuse at the bottom of the MPPT.
