Over voltage error 150/85 mc4 controller

I have 2 controllers that I over loaded with to many panels creating to higher voltage for the unit. I was given the wrong information about the panel set up.
the controller units no longer work. I disconnected all power to reset the unit as the manual discribes.

After that I received more info about panel set up and loads.
I change the panel voltage input to the correct amount of panels to suit controller.
I plugged it all in and the controller doesn’t work.
As I switch the breakers on I lose all voltage thru the system.
is there anything I can do to get them working.

Any help would be great.

If you supplied two much voltage to the PV connections on the MPPT regulators then they will be destroyed - the units depending on the model have MAX limits of 75 or 100 or 150 or 250 or 450 volts and these voltages MUST NEVER BE EXCEEDED. or the Regulator will be badly damaged .

this is not covered under warranty

If they did survive the high voltage - then you may have the solar Positive + and Negative Minus conections the wrong way around going into the regulator
