Is Two Multiplus-II 120v 2 phase configuration connected to 240 AC Generator supported

I was provided this setup from my solar reseller to connect my Off grid cottage and connected to a 14KVA 240v propane Generator.

The documentation of the Multiplus-II 120v refers to a 3 phase configuration but essentually I want only 2 Phases to connect properly the the 240V Generator.

My setup consist of

2 X Multiplus-II 120v

1X Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/70

1X Cerbo GX (to auto start the generator and monitor the setup)

1X GX Touch 50

2X LiFePO4 lithium battery 51.2V/100Ah

Plan to connect

Generator to AC IN L1 to Multiplus-II #1 and L2 to Multiplus-II #2 and bridge the N together.

AC OUT L1 and L2 and Nutral to a Simens SquareD breaker Box

Do I require an Autotransformer or the Digital Multi Control GX box?

Many thanks

Hi Marc, and welcome to community. Such system is perfectly possible. No need for an autotransformer.

Which documentation of that product refers to 120V only?

I just now checked this manual, and at least in 4.4.7 it mentions both options: https://www.victronenergy.com/media/pg/MultiPlus-II_12V_24V_48V_3kVA_120V/en/installation.html#UUID-6617b313-a3f4-68a3-5b93-c2bc90b2b225

See our auto transformer manual for when it provides manuals, the document in details explains all the various use cases: its like a Swiss army knife for split-phase applications, useful in various set-ups.
