Which Assistant for 12V LiFEPO4 Battery with Internal BMS

Hallo

I am using a Multiplus 12/1200/50 Inverter/Charger and setting it up with a Blue Nova LiFePO4 12V battery (218Ah). I have read through the applicable posts, but cannot seem to find whether an Assistant needs to be added in VE Config (the system is used in a RV and connected to a Cerbo GX and MPPT 100/30). A BMV-712 will also be connected to monitor battery.

I want to double check my settings, and so far I have ascertained that:

Select Other BMS option for LiFePO4

Absorb charge - 14.2V

Float charge - 13.5V

Store - 13.5V

Charge efficiency - 99% (but when I select LiFePO4 under Battery Type, it resets efficiency to 95%)

Charge current - ?? (The Multiplus can provide 50A and the battery rated at 100A - see specs below).

Should ESS Assistant be configured (and if so what settings - see settings below)?

from what I can see in the PDF that model of blue solar battery does not have any external BMS signal or control. the control is fully inside the battery. and of note is the max discharge figures and as you have 1200 w unit these figure should be ok as 1200 VA at 12v is 100 amps so you are at the MAX limit of that battery.

Discharge Current (max.)
100 A continuous
200 A burst (30 seconds)

You would have to select external control for the ess
