Buck-Boost Temperature via CAN-Bus

Hello,

I might to know the answer already, but is there a possibility to get the battery temerature which is on the CAN-Bus into the Buck-Boost for low temperature cut off?

Pretty sure you can do it with arduino, canbus shield, but there's going to be a lot of programming involved.

Might be better to use a conventional thermostat.
