Burned out Orion DC/DC Converter

Hi All,
I'm a boat owner with a 12v to 24v (27.5v out) Orion Switch Mode Isolated DC/DC Converter that has blown either due to age or maybe salt water contamination. (...or both...)

I can easily find and replace burned components, but I need help to identify them please?

Any other related advice and opinions are also appreciated.

When I work on a circuit like this I usually replace all 'lectrolytics as a matter of course. In this case I'm not sure whether any of the ICs could have conked out as well. Any advice would be appreciated.

The two components I'm most concerned about are the MOV and the blown resistor in the last photo.

Are you sure that's a resistor?
