Rj12 socket destroyed on a bmv-712

One off my BMV-712 must have seen too much humidity and some corrosion is present in the socket pins. So much so that some pins are missing and it made the fuse blow. I am out of warranty of course.

Has anyone ever serviced that socket, yet alone gained access/open the BMV in the first place?

Cheers!

If you are able to contact who you bought it from then the board can be replaced as a fairly decent cost

If you are referring to the plug INSIDE the BMV head unit, then I would think you are out of luck, all you can do is cut it open and see if you can hard wire it. other wise its a new head unit

If its the board on the shunt then as per the last reply yes you can buy these boards
