115v and 230v as Input for multiplus

Hello,

I will try in english:

We need to use 110v (north-america) and 230v (Most of the world) to feed our 24/3000 Multiplus in our vehicle.

Can I use an Isolation Transformer 3600 (Auto) to use These both voltage without changing any wire for both cases?

I was told this is not working but in the specs I can read, that this transformstor can be just for 115-230 / 115-115 / 230/115 and 230-230V

We only need 115-230 and 230-230....

Or is there any better solution?

Thank you,

Piet

Ps: Second question: what is the different between a Multiplus and a Multigrip for our use in the car?

The auto-isolation transformer is a good option. You need only to set the board voltage (with a jumper ) during installation and from then the transformer will converter automaticly up/down if it needs to. PS the frequency on board will follow the incoming frequency!

Johannes, thanks for you answer.

I have to ask: Do you speak from the "Isolation Transformator 3600 Auto"

ITR050362041 ?? That is the product I was thinking from.

or do you mean the "Autotransformator 32A" ITR000100001

I think the "Isolation Transformator 3600 Auto" is the better one....
