How does one setup up an ESS system with PV inverters on both input and output? Currently it seems you have to choose either input or output but not both.

Hi,
On your GX, go to settings -> PV inverters. There you can see all detected PV inverters.
You can set the position for each of the PV inverters, if it is on AC-In or AC-Out.
Don't forget to configure the PV-inverters on AC-Out inside the ESS Assistant.
The PV inverters on AC-out have to follow the 1:0 rule and have to respond to frequency shift control. More Info here: AC-coupling and the Factor 1.0 rule [Victron Energy]
