Multiplus II relay confusion

Hello Brainstrust

I have some confusion with regards the programmable relay in the Multiplus II 48/5000 unit.

In the body of the manual the relay is referred to as a 'programmable relay', whereas in the appendix it is referred to as the 'alarm relay'.

Is this the same relay? I would like to use the relaybto control a contactor with a 12 or 24 or 48 volt coil. Is this doable?

Yes, it's the same relay. Yes, you can control a contactor with it.
