MultiPlus-II Consumption with no AC Out

I have connected a MultiPlus-II connected

DC

180Ah 48V Batteries

SmartSolar MPPT 250/85

BMV-712 Smart

AC in to Grid

AC out not connected (at this moment) because i just want to feed it.

I configured in ESS to alway kee Batteries charged an a charge limit to 50Watt.

Why is AC Out consuming 35W?

Hi

These units are know to self consume and are not very accurate in the the current readings.

So i have being told by the powers that be, just the way it is. As i have a unit with similar self consumption issues.

Hi

One would hope so as the Mulitplus 2 are having issues with ripple relay control signals pulling current when doing nothing can be up 1700watts of power loss when the grid operator

sends the signals down the line to control hot water cylinders etc. in NZ

The frequency is about 350Hz
