BMV 712 Smart meter reset passcode?

I’m having trouble resetting the BMV712 Smart meter Bluetooth to default 000000. I cannot locate the reset passcode in any manuals. Is there a generic reset passcode in use, or do I need to pull the meter out and look behind it?

The unique PUK to reset the PIN is on a sicker on the back of the monitor.
(It would be not very clever if all have the same PUK)
