Can I use the 100v 50a controller for 80v 20a pv?

My panels will be set up 2s2p for a total output of 80v 20a. I have a 24v battery bank.
Can I use smart solar 100v 50a?

For some reason the calculator is not suggesting it.

80V x 20A gives a theoretical maximum of 1600w. The 100/50 is recommended for a maximum of 1440w. If you use it with that input you will lose some of your available solar energy.

The numbering on the Victron controller is (PV max voltage)/(Maximum Battery Amps), therefore a 100\50 can accept up to 100v input from the solar and 50A maximum output to the batteries.

The panels are only 300 watts. The max output would be 1200.

For a 1200W array in a 2S2P configuration, a 100/50 would be an excellent choice.
