Single red overload flash on turn on (Multiplus II 48/3000/35)

I've just installed a Multiplus II 48/3000/35, and on first switch on, the overload red led flashes briefly and then it is completely off. Removing all power and leaving it for 10 minutes, then reconnecting AC and DC, the same result. DC voltage is all good, so is the AC supply, and I have tripled checked wiring. Am I right to assume this unit is DOA?

@FSSBG

Are you pre charging?

Chances are if you didn't caps can be damaged.

Try with DC only and a pre charge resistor.

Turns out the remote on/off jumper was missing. Replacing it solved the issue.
