Why is shared voltage sense "forced off" with BSL?

Hi Everyone

No issue as everything appears to be working normally but I'm just curious, why is shared voltage sense "forced off" when using BSL Batteries? What is the logic"?

The Victron-BS manuals are confusing as they recommend to "flag" SVS but it can't change in software as shown in the photo. Elsewhere, the manuals say that SVS can be disabled with some managed batteries. But they don't explain why.

Forced off with most managed batteries as it can cause issues enabled. If the vendor wants it on, it can be enabled as some of mine do.
