BMV-712 Monitoring Two Systems?

Hey guys,

Stupid question. I see that the BMV-712 can monitor a second battery bank but I assume that to mean for within the same system?

We have an off-grid setup with a "main" system that is located a short distance from a stationary RV that has its own set of solar panels and batteries. Was shopping for a monitor for the main system when I saw the 'monitor a second battery bank' feature...just wondering if that's a possibility in this situation, being that it is two separate systems.

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

If both systems have a common ground, you can measure the voltage of the 2nd system.

For full monitoring you need a 2nd BMV or SmartShunt.
