my bmv 700, 6 years old, has suddenly started showing wildly inaccurate charge rates in both A and kW. My solar array charges at max 2.2kW, BMV saying 8.5Kw!, Amps proportionately incorrect. Voltage seems correct.
I have made no changes to the system ....
would a factory reset fix it?
@eddieproc Check your shunt PCB for damage, corrosion, and that the screws that hold the PCB on are tight. Maybe even pull the PCB of and check the back of it, and the surface it mounts on are clean and free of corrosion.
Another thing to check is the rj11 cable (to display) isn't damaged, and the socket isn't damaged or corroded.
