Multiplus II G98/99 power rating (UK - ENA Type Test Register)

Is there a discrepancy with the declared power rating for the Multiplus II 5000 as shown below:

screenshot-2024-01-19-073728.png

In my situation, I was looking to parallel an extra 5000VA MP2 to my existing set-up, but the National Grid has advised the maximum export connection is 8.4kW and I would therefore need G100/2 for export limitation. However, the existing G100 declaration by Victron is insufficient for G100/2.

Hence, is there a discrepancy with the UK ENA G99 declaration for the 5000VA ??

The small details in this case matters - is it 8.8kW or 8.0kW, as the latter only needs G99 and avoids the self declaration G100/2 and costly witness testing route...

Sell your 5kva buy a 10kVa, then no problems there.

Parallel set ups anyway with time between them is never a good idea. Matching hardware revisions and all the wiring mods don't make it worth it.

You say the table is from the ENA register itself so their figures? looks like match fixing to me.

The MP-II 10kVA, which is also fully type tested, would be a better choice if you ask me, also being 8kW. Check the certificates since the 5kVA is certified 4kW for off-grid and 4.4kW as a grid coupled ESS.
