Quattro, Ground problem

Hello to all,

I have a new installation on my boat, with 220V and 12V. After mesuring 12V between the Negative (batterie) and the Ground of the boat. I've found that the "leak" is comming from the Quattro casing or on a green and yellow wire which is going out of this quattro.

Why the Quattro link the positive of my battery with the ground ?

just to precise, the Quattro is new.

Thank you.

We probably aren't going to be able to help you without being on your boat or close to it. You need to diagnose the circuit yourself, or bring in an expert who can help you.

You mention 12V between the battery negative terminal and the "ground of the boat." What do you mean by the "ground of the boat"? And did you measure 12VDC or 12VAC?

Is your boat set up with a ground bond between your battery's negative terminal and the hull?
