Phoenix 12/50 charger for Smart Lithium

Is anyone using the Phoenix 12/50 charger for Smart Lithium. I am building a system for my rv and the dealer says it is incompatible and recommends the SkyIIa IP44 charger. The SkyIIa will not fit in the space I need it to. The Phoenix charger will work fine for the space. It is my understanding that the Phoenix charger has adjustable Voltage via a computer interface through ve configure and a MK2-usb dongle. I would be using a smart battery protect to disconnect the charger from over voltage via a mini bms.

Victron Phoenix 12/50 Charger. It states it in the main question. Can this charge a 12.8V Smart Lithium battery?
