BMS-CAN vs VE.Can with BSL Batt?

Hello Everyone,

Victron says I should connect my Cerbo GX to BSL Batt batteries through the VE.Can port on the Cerbo while BSL Batt says I should connect their batteries to the Cerbo through the BMS-Can port. Who is right? Or it doesn't matter? I can deal with the baud rate issues.

Either.

1.2 of the manual says that.

Preference should be BMS CAN.

[Edited] the reason really is the BMS bus is designed for use with compatible batteries on the list and is either 500kbs or disabled. There is not other speed option for normal users.
