Pb with MPPT 150/70 and Battery lead carbon

Hi community !

(sorry for my poor english ;-) )

I have 2 battery lead carbon NorthStar Blue 210A in configuration 12V, with three solar panel 330W.

The first time my Blue Solar 150/70 went in charge then absorption, then Float... Good, charging around 120W (source : historic VictronConnect !)

And just after, 7 days, it's always in charge with or without consumption. I connected electrical consumers but application VictronConnect always sys to me status 0, tension solar around 36V and current electric 0A (?)

The blue Solar is with default configuration number 2 (Battery GEL)

Batteries went down...

Northstar gives me these information but i don't know how to put in parameters because they seems very different :

• Absorption (in V) 2,35V/cell @ 25C
• Float (in V) 2,27V/cell @ 25C
• Equalize (in V) 2,35V/cell @ 25C

• dv/dt mV/°C (compensation temperature) ±2mV/Cell/°C
• maximum charge current (I read "No Limit" so i can give 1000A ;-) ?) YES but the Northstar battery will regulate charge acceptance, for optimal charge recommends 0,2C10

This the technical link for these battery : https://www.northstarbattery.com/media.ashx/nsbbluebatterymanual.pdf

Why dont have charge, what's wrong ?

Many thanks for your help...

Franck

Hi Franck,

There could be many points in a system where there might be an issue. Could be a fuse, or bad connection.

Please get in touch with a local installer and have them look over the system to make sure everything is correctly configured:
