Victron charger over-voltage protection

Good morning.

I would like to know if the victron chargers (mppt/220v/dcdc) disconnect if the charging voltage goes out of range due to some fault.

I switched from an epever system to a victron one.

Epever had this feature.

It is an important safety feature in unattended systems.

@Fra

The MPPT shorts the PV input to protect against overcharging.

See this manual. Err 29. Err 38/39.

There is a way for the battery bms (if it is capable) to switch off the charge as well.

Hello, many thanks for the valuable information.

It should be written in the manual though!!

At what temperature and battery voltage does the smartsolar protection intervene?

And for the 230v Bluesmart charger?

Are there such protections?

Is it able to stop charging if the battery sense temperature is too high or if the battery voltage is too high??
