150/35 MPPT repeatedly going to zero watts in full sun

The MPPT is running with firmware 1.61. The battery was at around 60 % so plenty of charging required. I can't remember that I've seen this behaviour recently. Not sure where to start looking (-:

If you zoom into the oscilatting area; they all to zero if you zoom in.

As soon as I posted the question, I remembered there was a communications problem to the Venus device:

This was exactly in the time frame of the strange behaviour above...

And on the Venus device we have:

I think this happened everytime the Venus rebooted to try and reestablish contact with VRM? I assume it is because the MPPT throttles down when it is no longer controlled by the Venus device?
