I am seeing a similar problem on my ESS - only in the last few days started going into "External Control" despite setting to Optimized without Battery Life (ReVoV Battery BMS recommendation). This started after recent update of firmware to V2.90 on 12 Sep 2022. Must be a bug. Can an expert please advise what to do?

Hi,

I also realized today, that "ext. control" is mentioned.

After reading many posts in this forum, I think I found the answer:

ESS - Multiplus status - VenusOS 2.92

"The status of a multi in an ESS has been external control for quite some time. It is the correct status as it is being controlled externally c/o DVCC."
