Limiting charge current with DVCC

We have a MultiPlus 2 GX connected to 4 Freedom Won E-5000 batteries. We do not have solar yet and are using the inverter to run our restaurant appliances during load shedding (we are in South Africa). DVCC is currently disabled. When grid power returns, the charging rate, coupled to our appliance loads, causes our main board to trip on overload. Can we set the charging amps lower in order to minimise the power taken to recharge the batteries and therefore give us more amps to run our appliances? We are thinking of 25 amps as a starting point.

Just decrease the inverter charging current (in the inverter settings, not via DVCC).

DVCC should be enabled for that battery, it is one of the requirements.

Yes you can limit via dvcc but that will affect charging when solar is around. Rather connect to the inverter via victron connect and set the charge limit there, you can also limit its input current limit from the grid. This should have been done so it can never trip your supply.
