Hello, I have a quattro 5 kW charger and a 2.5 kW gasoline generator.

the generator does not synchronize with the charger (only with weakAC enabled)

1 What are the consequences of weak AC?

2 where to find information about how generator models are suitable for Viktron products?

1) about 80% of the charge current, i.e., if you have 50A set to charge, you will only get about 40A.

2) Not really. Victrons are normally very tolerant of generator output. Recommend you read the following thoroughly:
