Raspberry Pi - Venus OS log in

I have installed Victron Venus OS on a Raspberry Pi 4. All works good, and can see it if I log in using IP address of it. But I would like to add a 'shutdown' option. I have seen online that you need to add some code - going in using Putty. My problem is that I cannot connect - says refused.

Is there also a place here that will show the code you add? On Youtube there are several videos that show it.

I have enabled SSH in the Settings, added password - but still no joy.

Incidentally, if I log on directly to my Pi using HDMI connection - just shows a black screen with option to try and log in - is this expected - would you ever log on directly? If yes, then what do you type to log in?

Any help would be most appreciated! Cheers!

The first part of my driver install video show how to set the password, enable SSH and then log in.
You need to be on the same nextwork as the GX for this to work.
