MPPT Calculator - Does the Excel sheet works correctly?

In a series circuit for a string, the voltage per panel adds up and the amperes remain the same - at least that's how I learned it once.

In Excel Calculator version 4.0, the voltage (volts) and the current (amperes) are added together.

Either I am completely wrong or a small calculation error has crept in.

Easy to try out. Simply select a panel, increase the number from 1 to 2, the voltage should double and the amperage should remain constant. Unfortunately, the amperage doubles here as well.

Is that correct?

It is the charging current (output of the MPPT) not the PV current.

It actually says "Ausgangsstrom" - output current
