Multiplus Inverter / Charger switching off

Hi.

I have a 12/800 Multiplus inverter charger that is working most of the time. And I also have a Shunt.


I've noticed that with a full battery (100%) when the Shunt Power goes above 600watts the inverter seems to turn off and then a couple of seconds later turns back on again. I think this maybe at the same time the fan is trying to kick in ? Anyway Can anyone recommend any debugging I can do to help understand what my issues may be.

The inverter is 800VA, which is max 700W continuous at 25C, sounds like you are overloading it and it is auto-restarting. Reduce loads or its time to upgrade.

You also didn’t state what your batteries are, these could also be under spec.
