circuit braker ahead of multiplus 800VA ?

Hi,

I am finalizing my install in my Rv . I have 250 ah lithium and an EBL 99 for the DC part.

There is already a 40 amp circuit braker in place just after that inlet 220v external plug to protect the 220v sockets inside the RV.

So, my question is : Do i need to put a second circuit braker ahead of the multi , right before AC IN or its not necessary ?

In order to have both the multi and the 220v sockets inside the RV protected.

thank you

Hi Gilles, I do use a Phoenix 800VA / 24VDC / 220VAC.

On the DC input to the Phoenix I use a 32A/DC breaker (a real one), and on the 220VAC output, I use a 10A/DC breaker. Usually, when I do use the Phoenix at peak levels, the DC Breaker opens. Or the Phoenix goes into protected mode. (This happens when I switch on the coffee in the morning, and have not basculated my installation to the big inverter, as my needs rarely exceed 800VA at the same time.)
