Checking for avaiable energy

As of today i'm using a Fronius Symo and a self made car charger (ESP32 based). The charger queries the Fronius regarding the power feed into the grid to be able to set the maximum change current for the car.

I will add a battery system based on 3xPylontech UC3000 and Victron MultiPlus-ii/5000, Cerbo GX ...

In that setup i would assume that i need to query the available power from the Cerbo GX. What would be the preferred method and protocol to do that via TCP/IP ?

Yeah, Modbus TCP is a great way to get that data.

Look at the Modbus-TCP register list. You will need to turn on Modbus in the GX, under services.
