Ruuvi - Cerbo - Axiom

Hello,

i now trying 1 week so i dont know what to do nymore so i ask here

i have a ruuvi sensor conectet to ma cerbo and want the data on my axiom
i also have conectet 2 tank sensors on the cerbo and this data i see on the axiom so data is comming and working
but the data of the ruuvi and also the data of the wired temp sensor is not comming to the axiom

so i read much about nmea2000 but i dont find a solution
can somone give me a advice and help me with that ?

Hello @Cobra . I am not an expert in the interface between Cerbogx and Axiom but I can make some comment about the NMEA2000 interface. The NMEA200 protocol has very carefully defined Parameter Group Numbers (PGNs). The PGNs identify the nature of the information being conveyed from the sender to the receiver. This means that some data may not be defined by the available PGNs and so cannot be conveyed. Iā€™m not sure if the data you are trying to convey can be found in the NMEA2000 PGN tables but it is a possibility they are not.
It sounds like you are using the NMEA2000 backbone to communicate with the Axiom. Have you tried using the Ethernet connector as that may provide you with what you are seeking. That way the information is not restricted by the finite data set that can be communicated with NMEA2000 so has none of the restrictions I previously mentioned.

Good luck with it.

hello,

thank you for this help. i already thought about the ethernet solution BUT i dont have a adapter

the PGN i need to ask for is the 130313 for humidity and 130310 for temp and also i woud love to get the pressure
but axiom didnt get anything :frowning:

at the moment im trying to get a n2k solution with signal k but no luck yet :frowning:

The answer is in the Cerbo GX manual in the section on NMEA out. This lists the only info that is broadcast and it does not include temperatures. The manual specifically states that if it is not listed in the section then it is not broadcast.

well you are right
and wrong

in this thread Ruuvi - Cerbo/Signalk - Raymarine Axiom Temperature and Humidity display - VictronEnergy somone managed it to show the pressure on the axiom and this means there is a way
also in the manual they write they not supporting it BUT they not writing thats impossible

in THIS poste Cerbo GX and Ruuvi sensor: data on a Raymarine Axiom display - VictronEnergy there wrote somone that you need o go through Signal K and thats what i trying at the moment but i dont get the right mapping

so i still think there is a solution through Signal K
