I have an external NMEA2000 sensor for hot water boiler and want to switch a relay based on the temperature. I cannot find the temperature sensor in the cerbo though. It also does not show up in MQTT explorer. The only sensor I see there is my Ruuvi tag. How can I enable support for my N2K temp sensor (PGN 130316)
Not natively, the only NMEA devices configured as input to the Cerbo are GPS, alternator and tank levels according to the Cerbo GX manual, look Chapter 5.
Thanks for the reply.
I think it’s a shame that Victron does not allow, at least in NodeRed, the input of any NMEA2000 message. I can sort of understand from the normal UI that they limit it to certain devices but as NMEA2000 is a standardized solution with certification for all devices, they should just be able to handle all messages in the more advanced nodered flow.
Now I have to buy another devices to handle this.
Kind regards,
