Problem with the USB port on the Multiplus_II_3000_GX

Hello everyone.

I’m having a minor problem with my Multiplus II 3000 GX inverter. The USB port has stopped working. That is, it supplies power, but it no longer recognizes the Smart Solar charger. I know the charger is working because I tested it by connecting it directly to the ve.direct port (instead of the shunt port). Is there any way to reset it to get it working again? I’m worried a ground loop occurred during service. Has anyone else had this problem, and is there any way to fix it? Or is the inverter only suitable for repair?

There are other options.

Try to connect the ve.direct to usb cable to a smartphone or PC with Victron Connect and see if communication with the solar charger is possible.
