I have 1-phase system with Multiplus 2 GX 48/3000. Now I need more power and I have been thinking install another Multiplus 2 to other phase (paraller system). I have a change to get other similar Multiplus 2 GX what I have in a 1-phase system. This is good deal and it would be much cheaper to me than buy Multiplus 2 without GX feature. If I bay this GX device I have to disable GX feature from new device. How I can do this? Do I have to disable GX card unplugging cables from card inside of the device or can I do it easier way? If I unplug GX card so missing I front cover display too?
Yes, the internal GX is just a seperate PCB inside which you can unplug
Yes, the display is driven by the internal GX, so only the master MP with its GX still connected will show info on the display.
If you are intetested in experimenting, usually those grafic LCDs only require four wires to run them, you ight be able to duplicate the data onto the second screen relatively easy
Thank you for your response. It is okay to me if I can’t get all of data to other Multi’s display, but if it is totally black and I have not any power on information so it is little bit unfortunate.
So, this is only way to do this? I can’t do it with software?
Buy yourself an ekrano and use that instead of the built in gx. Costlier but way better solution, and it gives options for future upgrades.
Or consider the android display option for monitoring.
