Multiplus-II GX & Ekranos GX

Morning all. I have searched but can’t find a clear answer - I’ve been asked to assist a friend with building a large system for his expedition truck. We specified a Multiplus II 48/5000 but seem to have ended up with the GX version.

We will be running an Ekrano GX as our primary controller. I can’t find reference in the manual as to if the two units are compatible given both have a GX controller function. We have assumed that the two systems can run alongside with no issues but if this is not correct, hopefully somebody can advise!

You cant use both, so you can disconnect the gx module in the multiplus or get a regular multiplus

Thanks Marc, I’ve just had a look again in the manual and it doesn’t clearly state that disconnecting it is an approved method so thinking I will contact the supplier and exchange for a regular unit. Doh!

Yes its not an official way, if your dealer can exchange it would be best and cheaper
