GX not talking to multiplus

I’ve got an interesting situation.

I installed a Multiplus that is not being seen by the GX unit. GX sees the BMS and Solar charger. The Multiplus is connected with a new Victron Ethernet cable.

The Multiplus is working independently and can be accessed from the Victron connect on a laptop through a Ve. Bus to USB.

Before install I was using the same GX and inverter combo to test the Multiplus. Somewhere something changed.

I also updated the software on the inverter and GX

Any suggestions?

Did you test the same cable with the MK3 interface instead of the Gx device with the MP?

Silly question:
And you really plugged the cable into the ve.bus port(s) and not into CAN or Ethernet ports?

Turns out the customer did plug it into the network port. All good now. I was doing this remotely and it didn’t become clear until he sent a picture.
