Mine starts approx 20-24minutes late, so it miss minimum 20minutes of ie infeed at a higher rate. Have not used dess much since it do not fit our differentiated buying prices in Denmark, so have no clue why it is delayed.

I just went live with my Dynamic ESS in the Netherlands (3x MPII 5000VA, MPPT RS 450/200, 64kW Battery Bank) and I see the same behavior. Did anyone figure this out yet? Thank you for the question and thank you to anyone sharing some insights. Kind regards, Cees

No, unfortunately, no one is responding with a solution. I do notice that sometimes it works out fine, and everything happens on time. But often it doesn’t. It’s a strange problem, because I hear from others that they don’t have this problem at all. So I don’t really know where to look…

Make sure you set the correct maximum import and export power, DESS uses this to determine when it should start charging/discharging to get to the target SOC.

Did you set your home location in VRM? Maybe this is related to different time zones, day light saving or just a bug. The 15 minutes late might be subject fetching data and rescheduling the target SOC. looping @dognose in…

Yes, I checked that. The problem isn’t so much that it miscalculated how long it takes to reach a soc. It’s more that the energy price peaks at, say, 8 PM. And my system won’t start delivering until 9 PM.

Well, I noticed that too. Various information wasn’t loading correctly. And the website was very slow. But the problem this post is about… Unfortunately, it’s been around for a while. And actually, it’s been around since I started this system in February.

I had the same problem. I reset the consumption data in the VRM portal. And since then, everything seems to be working fine. Just today, DESS is doing some crazy things. I think it’s not getting any data anymore either just like de VRM portal.
