Just setup a new system which consists of following components:
a) Multiplus II GX
b) Lynx Smart BMS 500
c) Victron Battery protect
d) 3x Smart Lithium Batteries
e) Ekron GX
I Can see the Grid, AC loads, Watts, Voltage and DC amps on the Display, but it does not show state of charge % for the batteries. I have the Multiplus and Lynx connected via VEbus with Lan Cable…used normal Cat 5 cable.
a) Do I maybe need to use the Lan plugs supplied by Victron for this to work?
b) are there any components missing here?
The Multiplus connects to the Ekrano via VE Bus. This is standard Cat 5 cable. Make sure you have the VE Bus port on the Ekrano used.
The Lynx BMS connects via VE Can. This is standard Cat 5 cable. Make sure you use the VE Can terminal on the Ekrano. The terminators need to be installed in the spare port on the Lynx BMS and the spare port on the Ekrano. The VE Can port needs to be 250kbits/s in the settings, this should be default. See Section 5.4.8 of the manual.
Many thanks! But, there still seems something wrong in my setup. Now I have put the terminators in and get “Ext. Control” showing on the screen for the Multiplus. But still no % for the batteries…
tap on the screen, see the settings button, click on that, then system setup, then batteries, then battery monitor then you can choose what source you accept for the displayed battery monitor.
