My system is Victron, Solar, Orion, Smart shunt, Multiplusii. My batteries are not Victron they have Bluetooth for the BMS. The Ekrano is using the multiplus (I’m pretty sure) for the battery percentage data. Ekrano shows 92% but the battery BMS and the smart shunt show 79%. I cannot figure out how to manually change the battery % on the Ekrano. I’ve tried on the display and with Victron Connect app.
Make sure to set the shunt as the bmv in the gx system setup. It probably defaulted to the multi.
If you’re using dvcc, set the shunt as the reference for shared sensors.
Then be sure to tune the shunt correctly - see the faq section in this DIY category.
@nickdb possibly a typo. The smartshunt or the battery monitor?
Its probably coming from the VE bus. (Inverter soc.) Cant be set.
Set the battery monitor in system set up to the smart shunt you can manually set it there but the best way is to fuly charge the batteries so they synchronise and show us your settings on the shunt they probably need to be revisited.
Thanks for the advice. I will fully charge the batteries synchronize and take a screen shot of the settings for the smart shunt. I did change the shunt to be the battery monitor.
I fully charged the batteries and did the synchronize. It worked temporarily until the batteries were getting recharged and it quickly reset to 100% SOC but the battery BMS was still reading 83% SOC. Here is a screen shot of the settings for the battery shunt and the another from the BMS built into my battery.
I don’t understand why it can’t calculate where the state of charge is?
Your “charged voltage” is set far too low in the shunt settings, so the shunt is going to 100% far too soon.

What do you recommend I set it at 13.6?
I don’t give personal recommendations for others’ systems, since I don’t know others’ systems, but read through the FAQ so you understand what’s happening, and evaluate your setting based on the information there - there are recommendations in the FAQ, should you choose to follow them.
