2x EVCS in one instalation

Hello

I have a newly installed EVCS2 on ACIN 3Phase and another older EVCS1 on AC OUT 1Phase. All devices have the latest firmware, I use ESS. WiFi signal is strong and stable.
The problem is with the display in the remote console on mobile or vrm. After rebooting EVCS2 says connected, but after a few minutes it disconnects. I see an error in the transmission on the remote console/modbus TCP.
thx for help.

If reboot EVCS:

After a few minutes :

EVCS1, EVCS2 are functional and the display responds to the change.

Hello @ross.
Does the EVCS2 have strong enough WiFi signal strength?
Can you check it on the EVCS web interface while it is connected?

Can you also check the EVCS screen? What do you see in the ‘WiFi’, ''SSID" and ‘IP’ fields when EVCS2 disappears from the GX interface?

EVCS 1 EVCS 2 Wifi is OK on the screen

EVCS2 in CERBO is still not connected

In services modbus TCP I see an error. sometimes I also saw in the error text IP 219.168.100.218. that is IP EVCS

thx

219.168.100.218 - it is IP of the EVCS2?

yes

Who has IP 192.168.100.58?

Cerbo GX

ok. So, when the EVCS is not visible in the GX interface you still can reach the EVCS internal web interface from your network?
Can you also tell me the GX FW version?

yes
via IP address it works. Tried it, also via VRM/device list/ EVCS 2.
1 connection out of 5 attempts.

current firmware v3.60~39
I also tried firmware v3.54

Hello

The problem is solved…

I noticed that when connecting EVCS2 to victron connect, my mobile phone got hot in a few minutes. After disconnecting EVCS2 from the mobile phone and closing the victron connect application, the mobile phone got to normal temperature. I tested it at least 10 times and still only when connecting EVCS2 to the victron connect application, the mobile phone got hot, restarting the phone did not help. I tried turning EVCS2 off/on AC for a few seconds but it helped to display it in the Remote Console for a few minutes.
I was desperate and turned off EVCS2 for a day.
After that one day, I turned on AC again for EVCS2 and since then it has been working properly.

ok. Great, that is working in the end. I will keep an eye on your setup. Also, write me a message here if the problem happens again. By the way, what is your phone brand and version?

okidoki. Thank you for your concern.
i have iphone 14 Plus
