what is nominal pv power in smartsolar mppt 100/20 ?

Hello, my mmpt smartsolar 100/20 indicates a nominal pv power of 580w.

I don't understand why is this value indicated as the datasheet indicated that maximum current will be limited at 20A and maximum voltage supported is 100v.

Then maximum power should be 2000w.

So why is there a limit of 580w indicated?

nominal pv power means that sum of WC of each pannel should be lass than this value right ?

The 20A limit is 20A output current, not 20A input at 100V.

Please I don't understand why is there a max pv shortcircuit current at 20a then ?

20ax100v(max) = max power = 2kw.

Limits on the inputs are to avoid damaging the solar charger components.

Maximum current into the battery (or loads connected to the battery) is 20A for your model.

The maximum power depends on the battery voltage.
