MPPT 100/20 Voltage Drop, how do i check if the internal is brocken?

Hello Community,

i tried to finally connect my Panels first Time with the MPPT 100/20 and sadly the only thing i can observe, there is a huge voltage drop from 52V to 5,2V. Bluetooth is working. Connected via VE.Direct, everything seams to be fine. Fuse checked, ok, polarity checked, also ok. What else i can try? My thought is that there might be an internal fuse broken? Is there a way to open and check the MPPT? I tried already, but it seams to be glued together.

Thanks for advice and have a nice Weekend.

Cheers, M<arcel

Make sure you havent clamped on the cable insulation. Yoir cable and connections are most likely faulty if the panles have voltage at the panles ut not the mppt.

Other than blown fuses this is the other cause.

If there is a fault usually is comes up in Victron connect.

Hi Alexandra, thanks for your reply. I could solve my problem by testing different Solar Panels. The Parts i used which didn't work, just didn't produced enough Current! The Sun was just not powerful enough for my testsetting.
