MPPT 100/20 LOAD OUTPUT + FRIDGE 12V

Hello everybody

I have a 150W poly panel and a 100/20 mppt with connected a 12V fridge that consumes a lot (about 45W) I would like to connect the load output of the mppt directly to the batteries (or only to the fridge) to monitor the absorption. Does that make sense?

A fridge drawing 45w an hour. That is like 96 Ah a day...

Of course a small fridge wont run 24 hours without cycling... Unless it is hot, or used..

A 100/20 is wasted on a 150w panel.

hello and thanks in advance

the fridge consumes 45W (I guess when the compressor is activated)

the future idea would be to add another 150W twin panel

in any case I did not understand if I can connect the fridge 8 or the whole load) to the dedicated MPPT output

what do you recommend?

You need large enough panels to catch the free energy, and enough battery storage to get you through until the next energy harvest..

What other stuff do you need to power.

at the moment I have only one panel 150W poly + 2 batteries 110A AGM + MPPT .... with the fridge on on the phone application it says that consumption is 10Wh

I was wondering if it made sense to connect this user so expensive in terms of absorption to the load output of the MPPT

also do you think you need a second 150W panel?

thanks I'm not an expert :)
