MPPT 70/15

I have two MPPT 70/15 used by 180 W solar each and want to change charging parameters to install lithium batteries. When connecting via VE.direct, I get this error after running mpptprefs.exe

Can you please advise.


I have done the connection at night when no solar and have disconnected charger from battery. After connecting USB cable, have connected charger back to battery so, green light was blinking.

First advice would be to try using Victron Connect, not mpptprefs which is no longer supported.

Unfortunately MPPT 70/15 does not support Victron Connect. As boxes are 6 years old, seems kind of a waste to throw them away and buy replacement MPPT 75/15.
