2 Orion Tr smart DC to DC chargers running in parallel.

I'm looking at setting up 2 Orion Tr smart DC to DC chargers running off of an alternator and solar with a MMPT BlueSolar charge controller. How does the system know not to overcharge the batteries. How does it synchronize the charging profiles of the 3 devices?

If the charge profiles are all identical you shouldn't have any problems at all. Bulk, Absorption, Float, Compensation...everything must be exactly the same. Charge current is a function of the SOC of the battery so there is no chance of overcharging if the parameters are set correctly for your particular battery type.
