ESS ramp too slow for grid compliance

The feed-in ramp of MultiPlus-II 48/5000/50-70 in ESS mode is 400 W/s.

The VDE document "Anschluss und Betrieb von Speichern am Niederspannungsnetz" (available for free) states the following requirement: the regulation error must be below 10% after 3 sec due to a step reponse. The original text from chapter 4.10:

"Auf eine Abweichung auf Grund einer Sprungantwort muss das Gesamtsystem so schnell bzw. genau reagieren, dass der durch den Sprung verursachte Fehler unterhalb der Grenzlinie in Abbildung 1 bleibt und innerhalb von 3 Sekunden unterhalb von 10 % unterhalb des Ausgangswertes liegt."

The document states that this must be tested with the rated current. So, the MultiPlus-II would take more than 10 sec for a ramp of 0W -> 4500W, whereas the requirement is 3 sec.

The ESS manual mentions the ramp's purpose is for stability reasons, but this is contrary to above requirement.

Is this an error in the grid code settings or do I miss something?

Are there News about this?

We are coming up with the same Question while more and more ES Systems are ask from our customers. If this Question is ask from Westnetz for installations we have signed for, we should better have a good answer.

Is there a test report according to E.5 VDE-AR-N 4105 and VDE V 0124-100 for the Multiplus II devices?
